Marehra Public School Educational Society was founded in 1995, in honor of the renowned Persian-Hindi Sufi poet Syed Shah Barkatullah of Marehra, Etah. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, the Society draws inspiration from the rich legacy and teachings of the esteemed Sufis of Khanqah-e-Barkaatia, Marehra Sharif (Etah, U.P.).
The vision of the Society was brought to life by its Founder President, Syed Shah Najeeb Haider Qadri Barkati, the current Sajjadah Nashin of Khanqah-e-Barkaatia. His guidance and passion for education have been the driving force behind establishing numerous educational institutions across India.
